DIOCESAN TEAM OF PASTORAL ANIMATION

Level 5.2 - Diocesan Team of Pastoral Animation

TARGET
By December 2020, we the members of the Diocesan Team of Pastoral Animation, through our outreaches to the parishes and our formation programs offered to all, have discovered the demands of faith and allowed the life and the teachings of Jesus to touch our hearts. This has transformed our relationships with God, people and the world around us, as Disciples of Jesus. We have committed ourselves to live and witness to our faith. The Pastoral Agents, Collaborators and leaders have been accompanied to strengthen the Small Christian Communities. This has been done through our planned and programmed activities.

Rationale (Reasons)

SITUATION

We have just ended Phase One of Stage Two of our Journey of Faith and are entering Phase Two. Our Second Functional Analysis and Diagnosis showed us how our people are struggling to discover the demands of faith and allow the life and the teachings of Jesus to transform their relationships with God, people and the world around them. Basic on-going formation has been given to most of the leaders. They are always encouraged to strengthen the Small Christian Communities. As a team we take time to study and reflect together on the situation and find possible means to animate the Diocesan Formation Programs as part of our planned programs.

IDEAL

As we walk our Journey of Faith, we accept the demands of our faith and give our lives to follow the ways of Jesus and let his ways transform our relationships with God, people and the world around us. We live and promote the values of this phase. The Parish Teams, Diocesan Services and Collaborators along with the people are well supported and directed by the DTPA.
